A Genuine Marketer, Helping People Succeed Online!

I joined the MyShoppingGenie business,  now known as Shopping Sherlock when it first came into the UK , and I  have to say at the time I was so excited about the concept that I went all out and built a group all around the world.  I believed in the product and with a good product it is easy to promote any business…. FACT !

I hit the Global Level, earnt a relatively good level of income but unfortunately everything fell apart.  MyShoppingGenie was run by ”MyNetUniverse” which attracted a significant affiliate base, however overall didn’t really seem to gain any solid traction over the years.

Reports were coming in that MyShoppingGenie hadn’t paid affiliates for 6 months in some cases (I was one of those affiliates) and by May 2012, the company had shut it doors and closed down.  Come early June, reports broke out that MyShoppingGenie assets, had been bought by Michael Wiedder,  founder of MLM company ‘Best in U’.

A few days after the acquisition was announced, news then  broke that  MichaelWiedder was launching Shopping Sherlock which, if you take a look at the software, is quite obviously built on the MyShoppingGenie technology.

One of the biggest problems with My Shopping Genie was that, despite the business opportunity revolving around the idea that those using the software would attract shoppers and earn commissions off their purchases, the reality of the business was that MyShoppingGenie affiliate commissions were primarily driven by recruitment and having been in the industry for many years many people unfortunately cannot or choose not to recruit/refer their business, that’s where the problem arises.  You end up with people paying a monthly subscription and not doing anything…. just to stay locked into the system, the fear of loss!

That’s when I decided after most of my team had quit that I wasn’t going to build the now Shopping Sherlock….  but I do believe that things happen for a reason and as a result of MyShoppingGenie/ShoppingSherlock it lead me to another business which I have been able to develop and change many peoples lives including my own. My current business does appeal to the masses and everybody will generate revenue….. without having to refer, but if you do refer the rewards are there for the taking!  It really is a breath of fresh air!

So in summing up I wish all Shopping Sherlock affiliates the very best of success!  It just wasn’t for me second time around!
